2001: A Space Odyssey

Widely considered to be one of the greatest films ever made, and undoubtedly a cultural icon, Kubrick's epic nonetheless puzzled many people on its original release and was dismissed by critics. As enduring in its philosophical contemplation of time, space and new dimensions, as it is in its breathtaking visual splendour, this is quite simply a 'must see', when shown in all the glory of Kubrick's own 70mm restoration.
