Brian Greene is a world expert on string theory and on space and time, and in this rare UK appearance he delivers a special illustrated lecture on parallel universes. A natural communicator, Greene has brought complex scientific theory to a wide audience through his media work and lectures.
Brian Greene is currently Professor of Physics at Columbia University and the man behind the World Science Festival in New York. His most recent book is The Fabric of the Cosmos: Space, Time and the Texture of Reality. In 2000 he was awarded the Royal Society's Prize for Science Books General Prize winner for The Elegant Universe.
Also part of Southbank Centre's The Bernstein Project and London Literature Festival.
