Brian Greene is currently Professor of Physics at Columbia University and the man behind the World Science Festival in New York. His most recent book is The Fabric of the Cosmos: Space, Time and the Texture of Reality. In 2000 he was awarded the Royal Society's Prize for Science Books General Prize winner for The Elegant Universe.
